01

Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Use apply to all visitors, registered users, free account holders, Premium subscribers and anyone who accesses or uses Tide Signal.

By using the website, creating an account, subscribing to a paid plan or interacting with website tools, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms.

02

About Tide Signal

Tide Signal publishes maritime business news, market commentary, shipping analysis, operational explainers, regulatory coverage, Academy articles and intelligence-style editorial content.

The website may include free articles, account-based features, saved article tools, member updates and paid Premium Briefing content. Tide Signal may update, expand, remove or reorganise website sections and features over time.

Tide Signal’s main coverage areas include Markets, Chartering, Finance, Operations, Technology, Regulation and Academy.

03

Accounts and registration

Certain features may require a Tide Signal account. These may include saved articles, selected member updates, subscription management and access to paid content.

You are responsible for providing accurate registration information and for keeping your login details secure. You should not share your account access with other people.

Tide Signal may suspend or restrict accounts that appear to be misused, used for abuse, used for unauthorised access or used in a way that disrupts the website.

04

Saved articles

Registered users may be able to save articles to return to them later. Saved articles are provided as a convenience feature and may depend on website plugins, account status, browser settings and technical availability.

Tide Signal does not guarantee that saved article lists will always remain available, error-free or permanently stored.

05

Premium Briefing

Tide Signal may offer a paid subscription called Tide Signal Premium Briefing. Premium Briefing is intended to provide deeper maritime business coverage, market notes, freight sentiment, chartering, finance, operations, technology, regulation and shipping risk insight.

Premium content may be published weekly or according to the editorial rhythm of the publication. Tide Signal may adjust the format, frequency, scope or structure of Premium Briefing as the publication develops.

Premium access is linked to the user account used during registration or subscription.

06

Payments and billing

Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe or another payment provider used by Tide Signal. Payment details are handled by the payment provider according to its own terms and privacy practices.

The Tide Signal Premium Briefing subscription is currently offered at €9.99 per month, unless a different price is displayed at checkout.

Subscriptions may renew automatically each billing cycle until cancelled. By purchasing a subscription, you authorise recurring billing for the selected plan.

07

Cancellation and refunds

Subscribers may cancel their paid subscription through their account area, payment portal or by contacting Tide Signal if account cancellation tools are not available.

Cancellation normally stops future renewal charges. Access to Premium content may continue until the end of the current paid billing period, unless stated otherwise.

Refunds are not automatically guaranteed after Premium content or subscription access has been made available. However, Tide Signal may review refund requests case by case, especially in cases of duplicate payment, technical error or billing issue.

Where consumer withdrawal rights apply, they will be handled according to applicable law. For digital content or immediate access services, withdrawal rights may be affected once access has started, depending on the required consent and legal conditions.

08

Editorial content

Tide Signal content is prepared for information, editorial and general maritime business awareness purposes. We aim to publish clearly, responsibly and in good faith.

Maritime markets, freight sentiment, asset values, fuel prices, regulation, technology, operations, chartering and shipping finance conditions can change quickly. Content may become outdated or may not reflect the latest available market information.

Tide Signal may update, correct, expand or remove content where appropriate.

09

No financial, investment or professional advice

Tide Signal does not provide financial, investment, trading, legal, tax, insurance, chartering, technical, operational or regulatory advice.

Any article, briefing, note, market comment or analysis published on Tide Signal should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice or independent verification.

Readers and subscribers should make their own decisions and consult appropriate professionals before acting on commercial, investment, operational or legal matters.
