China Fuel Exports Jump 13% as Jet Fuel Hits Record High
China fuel exports rose 12.7% year on year to 6.01 million tonnes in August, while jet fuel shipments hit a record 2.55 million tonnes and diesel exports climbed to their highest level since March 2024. The rebound is restoring Chinese barrels to Asian and long-haul markets just as diesel margins and tanker freight remain exceptionally volatile.
